Massage Therapy at the Vermont Salt Cave

Massage at the Vermont Salt Cave Spa

Massage is one of the oldest healing arts. It is the manipulation of soft tissue, tendons, muscles and ligaments to improve a person's health and well being. Before you decide which kind of massage style or therapy you would like, you should ask yourself two questions. Do you want a massage to help with relaxation and stress control?  Or, do you want a massage to relieve pain or to help with any health condition you may have?

BRAND NEW!   We are thrilled to introduce our Egyptian massage which features the original massage recipe identified by Edgar Cayce as used by the ancient Egyptians to massage into the skin to penetrate, nourish, soften the skin and underlying tissues.  It combines oilive oil, peanut oil, lanolin oil, sassafras oil, fir needle oil plus he added vitamin E.  The Egyptians were the first to codify and study esential oils and their therapeutic benefits for massage use as well as use in rituals.  The goddess Isis is reputed to have used therapeutic massage as a cure for a number of ailments.
