Psoriasis

Psoriasis is an autoimmune disease that causes raised, red, scaly patches to appear on the skin. It typically affects the outside of the elbows, knees or scalp, though it can appear on any location. Approximately 7.5 million people in the United States have psoriasis which can occur in all age groups but is primarily seen in adults.

Scientific research has confirmed that the micro-particles of salt have a beneficial influence to the skin protective layer and hairs, providing healing and cosmetic effects. This increased activity of skin cell ion channels and activates electrophysiological activity that determines the skin’s protective properties. The salt provides pH normalization and induces reparative and regenerative processes in derma, increases skin rigidity, stimulates growth and improves hair health.

Salt Therapy is a natural, safe and beneficial way to:

  • Kills bacteria.

  • Is anti-inflammatory.

  • Reduces IgE levels, meaning the immune system becomes less oversensitive

Psoriasis requires an aggressive administration of dry salt halotherapy treatment for 7 - 15 sessions within 3 weeks  in order to ensure positive results.  Benefits can last for six to 12 months along with attention to diet to work on the gut which is sait to be the basis of all auto-immune diseases.
